Music has always been my passion. Long before I knew words like "bitrate" and "lossless", I already knew which tracks deserved repeat.

At one point I even caught a bad case of audiophilia: gold cables, DAC arguments in comment sections, the firm belief that 192 kHz FLAC reveals itself in the first bar. A classic story.

Then came clarity, or, more honestly, a blind ABX test on my own gear. Turns out my real threshold is closer to Spotify than to Head-Fi dreams. I built ABXtest partly to share that cure. I hope you get the same.

I'm a developer and the author of the LYUCEAN project. ABXtest is an open service for an honest MP3 vs lossless comparison, no forum myths, just your ears, your setup, and a blind test.
